Isn’t that what all little girls are made of?  This one is no exception.  She was sporting the softest head of hair too.  She wasn’t sure sleep was such a great idea at first, but by the time we were done, she was out like a light.  I love it when newborns are agreeable like that!

I met Baby Weston when he was 11 days old.  I can’t believe how much he looks like his big brothers.  They waited an extra 10 days for him to arrive, and he is so worth it.  He didn’t want to miss out on the fun so he only slept for a few minutes while I was there.  But I was able to capture his sweet face and the intimate connection he has with his mom.

Welcome to the world, Weston!

What a wonderful family to be born into! After having four boys in a row, this sweet and patient mom was thrilled to finally have a girl.  In fact her mother had given her this beautiful pink blanket when she was pregnant with her first.  It has been in the closet for ten years waiting for Sophia’s arrival.

She was such a trooper during our shoot and slept almost the entire time.  Thank you for letting me take pictures of sweet Sophia.   Enjoy your sneak peek, you guys!

There’s nothing quite like setting your photos to music.  I had such a good time shooting and editing Baby M’s session.  I think this video gives you a glimpse of the joy this tiny baby has added to his family.

I love this job!  Especially when I get to spend a few hours working with a newborn baby.  They’re so soft and sweet and tiny!  It almost makes me baby hungry.  Almost.  This little guy is no exception.

Remember this gorgeous mama I shot at 38 weeks?  Well, she is now the proud mother of this sweet baby boy.  With the most awesomest (you won’t find that in the dictionary) head of dark soft hair.  He was a dream to shoot once he fell fast asleep.  In fact, he was so sleepy that we couldn’t get him to open his eyes at the end of the session for some awake pictures.  Now that’s what I call a dream newborn client!

I loved the opportunity to work with this family.  They are sweet and sincere and kind.  She was even making me cookies last night when I came by to pick up my vintage scale I’d left behind.  Thanks guys!  Enjoy your sneak peek and enjoy that sweet boy!
