Art Display Project | Aubry Startin

January 3, 2012

When word of this project came out, someone told me I needed to invite Aubry Startin of Startin Photo because she had the best wall collages ever.  Well, Aubry was already on my list and I’m happy to have her guest posting for me today!

I’m a mother of 3 small kids and loving all the craziness that goes along with it.  They are my excitement in the day.  I am also a sucker for emotion and romance.  I love capturing it and I love being a part of it.  Photography has been a great fit for me and I love the whole creative process.

Having photos displayed around my house makes my home feel more comfortable and I can see how fast my kids change.
I like using “standouts” because I’m not very good at picking out frames and I like the clean lines it gives.

I just adore a good collage.  Each year when I get my family pictures taken I create a wall collage on the wall in my family room, then I replace it with the next year’s pictures and put the old pictures in a hallway upstairs.

Thank you, Aubry!
