April 17, 2012Isn’t she beautiful?! We had so much fun during this session! Ashley was up for trying anything and we tried quite a few things. The golden sun peeked through the clouds just in time for us to capture it at the end of the day. She was so sweet and brought me a box of amazingly delicious Pomme d’amores (creme brulee pastries) from Knead Patisserie in San Francisco the next day as a thank you. They are now my new favorite treat. Ashley was a joy to work with and I’m so excited for her to start this next chapter in her life and wish her all the best next year at college!

I’ve known Maren since she was a little girl. I’m just astounded by how quickly time goes by when I realize she is now preparing to head off to Brigham Young University in a few short months. But I’m so thrilled and can’t wait to see what the future holds for this amazing girl. Thank you, Maren and Leslie, for spending the afternoon with me so we could capture this pivotal moment in your life. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

January 20, 2012I’ve been dying to blog this session for a few weeks now!!! This young lady is amazingly talented and at fifteen years-old, knows just what she wants. Writing and performing her own music is her passion and she is a natural at both. She reminds me of Taylor Swift or a young Mindy Gledhill. She just finished recording her first song, Peter Pan, and it debuts on itunes today! It has been swimming around in my head ever since I heard it about a month ago. We went out a few weeks ago to shoot some images for her album and had so much fun. This girl was either smiling or busting out laughing the entire time despite the wind and chill. She is so sweet and I can’t wait to watch her succeed in music and in life. Congratulations, Kira Stone!
