My greatest hope with this project was always to encourage people to print and use their photographs in their homes. About a week ago my friend Kristina Buskirk emailed to tell me that she had been reading the daily posts and was motivated to finally get her wall displays up on her walls. She then went out and did it! And sent me pictures. So I invited her to guest post today as an example of what you can do when you set your mind to it. And it only took her about a week (and numerous trips looking for the right frames). Come take a peek! She has two of the cutest kids ever and writes a BLOG full of amazing learning projects for toddlers that I wish I had access to when I was a mom with littles.
If you can believe it, up until Wendy started this Art Display Project series a week or so ago this was seriously the only set of pictures hanging on our wall.

oh love this!!! what a cute heart. i think my girls would adore that in their rooms! tfs!
LOVE these ideas!
ooh, I love the heart idea too- so cute and creative~ thanks for sharing!
Thanks for letting me share Wendy! It was so motivating to know I had to send you pictures. I haven’t felt that driven since I was nesting and 8 months pregnant with Caitlin. Can’t wait to see the post tomorrow.
Really great ideas. I especially love that you have a photo of your daughter along with the picture she painted – wonderful!
adore!! i did a wall heart frame too, my post will be up later on this month. i think you should sell the cross-stitching, i would totally buy it. i’m being serious. love!!
what great ideas – yay you!. I’m rather partial to the 6×4′s attached to the masterpieces created. Brilliant.
HOW awesome! I love that you didn’t delay – you saw something you wanted and needed to do, you went right out and DID It. So often we get stuck in inspire mode and never move to GENERATE. I LOVE the heart wall. I love all of them, actually. So glad you joined all of us in this challenge!
Love all your photo displays! I have to admit we have been lax about displaying our photos, and this such an inspiration! Not related to photos, but I like the way you have stored your daughter’s hair clips.
This is a great inspiration to get my photos off the computer, especially when you mentioned that your kids didn’t get to see them on the computer. It’s so true! I bet my kids would enjoy looking at the pictures as much as I do. I really need to start printing photos now!
Loving all of these! That heart is adorable
Great ideas!!
Kristina, this is so, so wonderful! I especially love that you finally made use of those cross-stitched mattes
The heart collage is my next favorite! Yay for being inspired to get all of this done!
Fabulous ideas – would love some baseball-seamed cross-stitch for my baseball freak’s game photos!
