I made a fantastic discovery this week over on i heart faces. The theme is “Celebrating Teens” and since I have teens of my own and I’ve been shooting lots of high school seniors lately, I thought I’d enter this week’s challenge. When I headed over there to take a look at the details, I discovered that the judge this week is a fantastic wedding photographer out of Vancouver named Jamie Delaine. I visited her website and perused the fabulous images on her stinkin cute site! The fantastic part of it all is that she is a TEENAGER herself! I was blown away with her talent, her foresight, the thoughts and words she shares, and all that she has accomplished at such a young age. I had the hardest time choosing an image this week. I’ve had the privilege of photographing some beautiful and fun seniors lately and each and every one of them could be entered into this week’s challenge. I chose this image of the beautiful Kellie because I love the way the colors work. Kellie is not only beautiful but she’s goofy and spontaneous, and creative, and artistic, and so so photogenic. I have a few images of her laughing hysterically that I almost used but I kept coming back to this one because it shows off her beautiful eyes, and gorgeous red locks and the greens are so pretty.
